In this episode we are coming back to the topic of what other industries can teach us. Media reports describe freelancing as the future of the job market. Freelancers in other industries face similar challenges, such as the necessity to educate their clients, show the value of their work, and stand out in a crowded marketplace. We can learn a lot by watching other freelancers and what they do.
We can learn a lot by looking at what other industries. We feel less alone, see how others are reacting to similar challenges, and can steal some of their ideas to use in T&I industry. “Others” focus on showing that what they are doing is not “just” design or “just” scheduling email. They are educating the client. It’s time that we start thinking of ourselves as the professionals we are, the consultants we can be, don’t you agree?
