Quick Start Guide: 8 Steps to a Marketing Plan for your Translation Business

Do you struggle with finding time to market your services, or feel lack you lack a plan? Or perhaps do don’t know what to focus on?

If you are like me, you probably want to spend your available work time on what generates revenue and to focus on what you strive in i.e. translating. You might dislike selling or marketing, but if we don’t focus any time marketing our freelance services, we can easily become victims of the infamous feast and famine cycle. In order to create a steady income and find the jobs and clients you enjoy working for and that pay well, you should market your translation services regularly. This is most easily done with a marketing plan. If we market the right way, we do not have to “sell”, just make clients aware of our services and how we can help them.

I have created a 20 page e-book to help you with this. In this eBook I will take you through this process step-by-step so that you, in the end, have an actionable marketing plan to work with, a plan that is brief and easy to use so that you know what to focus on in your marketing, and when. After reading and implementing the strategies in this book you will have an overview of your marketing situation and a to-do list for the coming year for getting more or better clients and to stand out among your competitors.

One of the first presentations and trainings I ever gave was on creating a marketing plan, and I have been refining this information during these past years.
